GOLF & CASTLES
Gullane and Dunnochter Castle: coastal walks and wildlife reserve.--65
minutes from conference hotel
Gleneagles and Stirling Castle (Braveheart Country): A visit
to Stirling Castle is an essential part of any visit to central Scotland.
Its location rivals even Edinburgh Castle's for sheer magnificence
as it sits on its high volcanic rock, visible for many miles in every
direction.--55 minutes from conference hotel
St Andrews and St Andrews Castle: This site was fortified by
the 1100s, and from around 1200 it was adopted as the main residence
of the bishops and archbishops of St Andrews. As such, the Castle
became the principal administrative centre of the Scottish Church
and was the setting for some of the key events in Scottish history--100
minutes from conference hotel
