REGISTER
The
State Capital Group's 2006 European Regional Meeting will be held
June 8-9 in Edinburgh, Scotland. The meeting will feature outstanding
speakers such as Alistair Bonnington, the in-house solicitor to the
BBC of Scotland, and Paul Cullen, Q.C., one of the leading Barristers
in Edinburgh. Other sessions include "A Primer on the European Union";
"Privacy Issues and the Internet"; "Recent Developments in Competition
Policy"; "Multijurisdictional Insolvency"; and "Choice of Law." To

Social events during the meeting will entertain and showcase the best
that Edinburgh has to offer. On Thursday night, following a Welcome
Reception at the office of Scotland member firm Burness LLP,
attendees will dine at The New
Club, a private club built in 1837 on Princes Street with the
most stunning view in Edinburgh, looking directly out over Edinburgh
Castle. On Friday evening, guests will gather at Edinburgh
Castle for a reception and a private tour of the Crown Jewels,
followed by dinner. After dinner, Burness will sponsor a Whisky
Tasting for guests.
HOTEL
INFORMATION: All meeting sessions will be held at The
Balmoral Hotel. A landmark in its own right with its majestic
clock tower that can be seen from all around Edinburgh, the Balmoral
